Where:
Dunsborough and Busselton, Western Australia (transport to and from covered by us).

Why:
Volunteering for the Be a Mermate campaign provides hands-on experience in health promotion and event coordination that has a meaningful impact. You'll meet your fellow team members, develop valuable skills, gain leadership experience and enhance your resume – all while having your food, travel and accommodation covered by Royal Life Saving WA.

Please note – given the high interest in our volunteer roles, we might not be able to offer a position to everyone. We're grateful for your enthusiasm and encourage you to continue applying!

Successful Applicants:

Successful applicants will need to attend 2-3 of our engaging training sessions/get-togethers before Leavers, where you'll meet your fellow team members, learn all about your role and what to expect, as well as some basic first aid and harm reduction strategies for alcohol and other drugs. This preparation is essential for our volunteers and is required to ensure they feel confident and ready for the week!
